Job summary

Responsibilities

• Acts as the expert for respective categories with industry and supplier insights.
• Develops, issues, and manages RFP/bid processes to achieve savings.
• Leads purchasing strategies for commodity materials across groups.
• Negotiates corporate programs with strategic suppliers and forms alliances.
• Participates in cost reduction activities and monitors price trends.
• Assesses supplier risk and proposes mitigation plans.
• Supports quarterly vendor reviews and external business reviews.
• Drives continuous transformation within the sourcing organization.
• Maintains supplier relationships to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
