Job summary

Faith Technologies Inc. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Category Lead to manage and implement category strategies that drive risk, quality, cost, and value. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop market intelligence on suppliers and market solutions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in strategic sourcing, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with MS Office. Travel and schedule requirements apply; knowledge of electrical construction trades is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in a strategic sourcing role.
• Travel: 10-30%, as required.
• Work Schedule: 7 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday; schedule accommodates role expectations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the expert for categories with understanding of industry, competition, future technologies, and innovations.
• Develop, issue, and manage RFP/bid processes to achieve savings based on specifications.
• Develop, lead, assess, and execute purchasing strategies across commodity materials.
• Negotiate corporate programs with strategic suppliers and form new alliances.
• Participate in cost-reduction activities and monitor price increases.
• Assess supplier and material risk and recommend mitigations.
• Qualify alternate supply sources for key products/services.
• Support quarterly vendor reviews and contract adherence.
• Support external quarterly business reviews with suppliers and provide performance feedback.
• Act as a change agent to drive continuous transformation within sourcing.
• Drive communication, data collection, and supplier relationship management.
• Identify opportunities to utilize supplier-driven innovation in Faith designs.
• Facilitate development of standardized specifications between suppliers and Faith design teams.
• Work with internal teams to ensure information gathered enables effective sourcing.
