Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Procurement Category Manager to lead capital sourcing strategies for equipment and sub-systems forming MHE systems. You will drive efficiencies through partnerships with internal teams and suppliers to meet Amazon’s uptime and innovation goals.

You will collaborate with WWDE, PMO, GES, and other One-MHS teams to deploy strategies across global and local operations, while guiding cost-saving initiatives and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category sourcing strategies for equipment and components forming MHE systems.

• Manage relationships with suppliers, business units, and procurement teams.
• Collaborate with global and local teams to deploy defined strategies.
• Influence supplier roadmaps and design decisions to meet procurement goals.
• Lead complex projects to drive productivity and innovation in the category.
• Monitor market trends and best practices to inform strategies.
• Develop and maintain category metrics and reporting on savings and compliance.
