Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager focused on direct strategic sourcing of electrical products and services. You will lead end-to-end supplier negotiations, develop cost-saving strategies, and drive value with engineering and operations teams.

The role emphasizes a modern, less-bureaucratic environment with visibility and measurable impact on supply continuity and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic purchasing/negotiation, with 3+ years in strategic sourcing.
• Experience sourcing technical electrical products and/or services.
• Knowledge of switchgear, transformers, motors, drives, relays, cables or similar equipment.
• Experience applying a formal 6–7 step strategic sourcing process.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives for technical products and services.
• Develop sourcing strategies for electrical categories and related services.
• Conduct market research and identify qualified manufacturers, distributors, and providers.
• Develop and execute formal RFP/RFQ processes.
• Analyze supplier capabilities, pricing, risk, quality, and total cost.
• Lead supplier negotiations and execute commercial agreements.
• Build and present sourcing business cases to stakeholders and leadership.
• Partner with engineering and operations to understand requirements and gain buy-in.
• Develop supplier strategies to improve continuity and reduce risk.
• Manage supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
