Jobot is seeking a Purchasing Manager to guide procurement for complex construction and manufacturing projects. You will source materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage the full purchasing lifecycle to influence timelines, margins, and overall project success.

This high-impact, cross-functional role collaborates with operations, engineering, and project teams, building cost-saving strategies, optimizing processes, and driving supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in purchasing or supply chain within construction or related industries.
• Proven contract negotiation and vendor-management success.
• Strong materials management, inventory control, and procurement systems knowledge.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic purchasing plans aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Negotiate contracts to drive cost savings and favorable terms.
• Manage POs, track deliveries, and ensure on-time material arrivals.
• Forecast material demand with project teams and engineers.
• Build supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives without compromising safety or quality.
• Analyze purchasing data and report on savings and KPIs.
