Job summary

Ecotal in the United States is seeking its first dedicated Senior Supply Chain Manager to build the function from the ground up. You will own strategic sourcing for custom components and hardware, partnering with engineering from design through production to shape cost, quality and supplier strategy.

You’ll lead RFQs, partner with suppliers on DFM and cost-down initiatives, develop should-cost models and establish sourcing processes.

Qualifications

Experience owning strategic sourcing in a complex hardware/manufacturing environment.
Experience with RFQs, supplier qualification and awards.
Proven ability to partner with engineering through prototype to production phases.
Strong cost-analysis, should-cost modeling and cost-down initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing for custom components, assemblies and hardware.
Partner with engineering from prototype through production readiness.
Own RFQs from requirements to supplier selection and award.
Identify and develop manufacturing partners for early builds and future production.
Drive DFM, cost design, value engineering and cost-down initiatives.
Develop should-cost models covering material, labor, tooling and processes.
Negotiate pricing, tooling, lead times and supply agreements.
Support make-vs-buy decisions and evaluate alternative manufacturing options.
Build sourcing processes and supplier infrastructure from the ground up.
