Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Product Sourcing Engineer to lead strategic supplier development and cost management across hardware lifecycles. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to optimize supply networks and ramp production with high flexibility.

The role emphasizes early supplier engagement, BOM consolidation, and cost engineering to achieve favorable TCO while managing CAPEX during NPI. A strong background in electronics or mechanical design is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, and development.
• Experience designing electronics and/or mechanical devices.
• Early supplier engagement before product/engineering requirements.
• Value/procurement engineering at component or product level.
• Familiarity with high-tech, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection using approved supplier list.
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development.
• Develop a manufacturing BOM with Quality & Manufacturing for ramp.
• Lead NPI component procurement and manage CAPEX.
• Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize lead time and flexibility.
• Lead cost engineering to converge cost curves to product cost.
• Manage tariffs, import/export costs, and cost inflation.
