Job summary

SpaceX in Starbase, TX is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Specialist, Construction to lead procurement strategies for major construction programs supporting the Starship initiative.

You will partner with internal stakeholders to drive cost reduction, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance from PO to pay. You'll develop sourcing models, establish KPIs, and execute value-driven negotiations while ensuring compliance and on-time delivery for critical infrastructure projects in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in engineering, supply chain, or procurement.
• Construction procurement experience is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive contract management process for project execution.
• Create sourcing strategies to meet cost targets and supplier performance metrics.
• Build relationships to enable strategic sourcing models and ongoing cost reduction programs.
• Define and monitor SLAs and KPIs for suppliers and measure outcomes.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking for assigned categories.
• Draft contract documents with the legal department and manage supplier performance.
