Job summary

SpaceX is recruiting a Senior Sourcing Specialist for construction to shape supplier relationships and manage contracts for Starship program infrastructure. You will create strategic sourcing models, drive cost reductions, and partner with internal stakeholders to meet aggressive project timelines.

Responsibilities include defining SLAs, analyzing costs, and ensuring supplier performance while navigating fast-paced, high-stakes environments at Cape Canaveral.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree; or bachelor's degree plus 2+ years in engineering, supply chain, purchasing, or related fields.
• Experience in construction procurement or cost estimation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement contract management for project execution.
• Create sourcing strategies to meet cost targets, payment terms, and cash targets.
• Build internal relationships to optimize value of products and services and sustain cost-reduction programs.
• Define and track SLAs and KPIs for suppliers and measure outcomes.
• Identify and drive cost-reduction projects with cross-functional teams.
• Perform quantitative analyses to assess financial impact of decisions.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking for assigned categories.
• Draft contract documents with legal and manage supplier performance against contracts.
• Reduce transaction volume and drive procurement process efficiency.
