Job summary

SpaceX, Space Exploration Technologies Corp, is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Specialist for Construction to lead procurement for Starship infrastructure. The role focuses on developing contract management processes, creating sourcing strategies, and driving value with suppliers to meet project targets.

You will collaborate with legal and internal stakeholders, negotiate favorable terms, and monitor KPIs to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency on major construction programs in Cape Canaveral, FL.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree; or bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in supply chain, purchasing or related fields.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing or materials management; ability to handle construction projects.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and onsite work in Cape Canaveral, FL.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a contract management process for construction projects.
• Create sourcing strategies to reduce risk and meet purchasing targets.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships for strategic sourcing models and cost reduction.
• Negotiate terms, drive cost reduction, and manage supplier KPIs.
• Manage contracts to ensure supplier performance and compliance with terms.
