Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Sr. Sourcing Specialist (Starship) to drive strategic sourcing for capital and construction projects at Starbase, TX.

You will partner with internal stakeholders to develop cost-effective strategies and negotiate contracts through execution. Ideal candidates bring advanced degrees or a Bachelor's with relevant experience in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain management, plus strong analytics and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with related work experience in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years in engineering, purchasing, or contract management qualifies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies for capital and construction projects.
• Build stakeholder relationships to optimize value and drive cost reduction acrossCategories.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage capital/construction contracts from RFP to completion.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensure contract obligations are met, and manage related KPIs.
• Lead project control tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and updates.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and coordinate with stakeholders to execute them.
