Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a world-class Sourcing Manager to own end-to-end sourcing strategy, supplier management, and delivery of board-level mechanicals and connectors for SpaceXAI compute and network hardware.

You will partner deeply with responsible engineers, signal-integrity, and packaging teams to define commodity strategy, craft and optimize statements of work (SOW), aggressively challenge unnecessary specifications and costs, and drive connector and board-hardware execution at extreme velocity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 6+ years in sourcing/manufacturing or 9+ years in lieu of degree.
• Experience with connectors, interconnects, sockets, or board-level hardware preferred.
• Ability to lead end-to-end sourcing, negotiate SOWs, and manage suppliers at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end sourcing for board mechanicals and connectors, including supplier selection and capacity planning.
• Define and negotiate SOWs, drive value engineering, and secure tooling and capacity.
• Monitor global trends in high-speed interconnects; mitigate sole-source risk.
• Present value propositions to executives and manage supplier performance.
