Job summary

SpaceX seeks a world-class Sourcing Manager to own end-to-end sourcing for board-level mechanicals and high-speed interconnects. You will partner with engineers to define commodity strategies, optimize SOWs, and drive on-time delivery at extreme scale for Starlink compute hardware.

You will lead global supplier selection, capacity planning, and continuous cost leadership while ensuring SI, power, and reliability standards. This role is based in Austin, TX and onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 6+ years in sourcing/procurement or 9+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Deep knowledge of high-speed interconnects and board-level mechanics.
• Experience negotiating complex SOWs and managing strategic supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end sourcing strategy for board mechanicals and connectors.
• Negotiate SOWs and commercial terms to optimize cost, timing, and risk.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps with supplier partners and drive vendor performance.
• Lead global supplier selection, qualification, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to align spec, packaging, and reliability.
• Monitor industry trends and mitigate obsolescence and sole-source risks.
