• Or two years at lower-level Mgr, Purchasing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Leads procurement strategies for assigned categories to maximize value and minimize cost.
• Develops required specifications for bids and proposals and maintains relationships with internal customers.
• Researches market conditions, past purchases and price indices to inform contracts and forecasts.
• Oversees vendor performance and contract administration, including post-award activities.
