The State of Georgia’s Department of Public Health seeks a Senior Procurement and Contracting Specialist to lead complex procurement and contracting activities across the full lifecycle. You will collaborate with legal counsel, vendors, and program leaders to ensure compliance with the Georgia Procurement Manual and grant rules, while driving risk reduction and cost savings.

This role requires strong research, negotiation, and contract administration skills, and offers a competitive benefits

Qualificações

• Associate degree in business or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Three+ years of procurement/contracting experience preferred.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering contracts and related documents.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage complex procurement and contracting activities throughout the full lifecycle.
• Draft, review, analyze, and administer contracts, SLAs, and related documents.
• Review contractual terms for accuracy, compliance, and risk; research applicable laws and policies.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with agency objectives and laws.
