Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Product Sourcing Engineer to drive strategic supply network development and cost management of hardware throughout lifecycles, partnering with suppliers and cross‑functional teams in engineering, quality, and manufacturing.

You will lead supplier selection, support early design and development, manage BOM risk and CAPEX, and optimize TCO while maintaining broad visibility into lead times and cost drivers.

Travel up to 25% and relocation to Huntsville, AL are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
• Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component & product level.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection for a specific product, leveraging our approved supplier list.
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via activities such as concept scoping, trade studies, should-cost models, and clear SOWs.
• Lead design development and BOM consolidation with Quality & Manufacturing to ramp production.
• Manage CAPEX throughout NPI and conduct value‑stream mapping to optimize lead times and flexibility.
• Converge bottom-up costs to product cost, assessing tariffs/cost inflation as needed.
