Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Product Sourcing Engineer to drive strategic supply network development and cost management across the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with suppliers, engineering, quality, and manufacturing to accelerate development, optimize BOMs, and reduce total cost of ownership. This role places you on the front lines of high-tech defense manufacturing on a fast-moving team delivering critical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement engineering.
• Experience in electronics or mechanical product design and development.
• Advanced sourcing activities and supplier management experience.
• Early supplier engagement before product/engineering requirements are defined.
• Proficiency in value or procurement engineering and TCO work.
• Experience with high-mix, low-volume high-tech products.
• U.S. citizenship is required per contract.

Responsibilities

• Select suppliers for a product from the approved list.
• Lead cost engineering to converge costs and optimize TCO.
• Develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM with Quality & Manufacturing.
• Manage CAPEX during NPI and scale production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the production floor.
