Job summary

Carnival Corporation in Miami seeks a Director of Strategic Sourcing – Indirect to lead multi-year, global sourcing strategies for indirect and onboard revenue categories. You will work with C-suite and cross-functional teams to optimize cost, risk, and supplier performance, while guiding a team of senior managers.

The role requires 10+ years in supply chain leadership, strong analytics, and proven negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• CPSM or related supply chain certification preferred.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to influence across organizational levels.
• Advanced analytical proficiency in spend analytics and BI.
• Negotiation and contracting expertise.
• Autonomous and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives across Indirect spend (Marketing) and Onboard Revenue categories (Retail Concessionaires).
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align strategy with business objectives using data-driven insights.
• Influence and engage executives to ensure strategy adoption and value delivery.
• Manage significant annual spend (OPEX/CAPEX) of $500M–$750M.
• Lead and develop Sr. Managers and/or Managers on sourcing programs.
• Design multi-year category roadmaps (3–5 years) with enterprise impact.
• Oversee supplier relationships, governance, and contract lifecycle.
• Drive annual savings targets, cost avoidance, and sustainability goals.
