Job summary

Carnival Cruise Lines in Miami is seeking a high-impact Category Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Food & Beverage to lead sourcing strategies across global categories. This in-office role partners with culinary, operations, finance, and supply chain teams to drive value, cost optimization, and supply continuity across multiple brands.

Ideal candidates have 4–8+ years in strategic sourcing or category management, with strong negotiation, data analysis, and project leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong negotiation and commercial contract management skills; ability to structure complex supplier agreements.
• Advanced analytical capability including spend analysis, cost modeling, and market intelligence interpretation.
• Ability to develop and execute category strategies based on data insights, market trends, and business requirements.
• Knowledge of total cost of ownership (TCO), cost drivers, and supplier economics.
• Experience leading sourcing events and complex negotiations in cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term strategic sourcing plans for highly complex categories and projects.
• Lead supplier qualification, segmentation and certification programs.
• Negotiate strategic supplier contracts and develop innovative pricing models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across culinary, operations, finance, legal, and supply chain.
