Job summary

Procare Solutions in Denver, CO seeks a seasoned procurement and contracts leader to own strategic sourcing and customer contracting. You’ll orchestrate vendor negotiations, implement a modern procurement platform, and align spend with revenue objectives across IT, legal, and finance.

You’ll build governance, drive cost savings, and ensure accurate revenue recognition, working closely with Sales, Legal, and Accounting.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience across sourcing/procurement, contracts management, deal desk, or revenue operations, ideally with exposure to vendor and customer contracting.
Experience in a B2B SaaS or tech environment, with familiarity with SaaS commercial models (subscription pricing, usage-based billing, multi-year terms).
Strong contract negotiation skills and comfort reading/redlining commercial terms (not requiring a law degree).
Experience partnering with Finance/Accounting on billing, revenue recognition, or spend management.
Excellent stakeholder management — role sits between Sales, Legal, IT, and Finance with credibility across teams.
Experience evaluating and implementing a new procurement or spend management platform (not just operating within an existing one).
Experience standing up or scaling a sourcing or contracting function at a mid-market company (200–2,000 employees).
Familiarity with CLM tools (Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, Concord, etc.) and procurement/spend platforms (Coupa, Zip, Procurify, etc.).
Experience negotiating with major cloud/hyperscaler vendors (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft/Azure) and core business systems vendors (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).
Prior experience reporting into a Finance/Controller organization.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing and vendor negotiation strategy across software/SaaS tools, professional services, and other third-party spend categories.
Own evaluation, selection, and implementation of a new procurement platform, transitioning off the current approvals process.
Build and manage a vendor management framework with renewal calendars, spend tracking, and vendor risk reviews.
Partner with department heads to consolidate spend and negotiate favorable pricing/terms at renewal.
Own procurement policy and approval workflows; ensure spend is properly authorized and budgeted.
Identify and deliver cost-savings initiatives; report savings and spend metrics to Finance leadership.
Own end-to-end contract lifecycle for customer agreements: MSAs, order forms, amendments, renewals, non-standard terms.
Partner with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk to balance win-rate with margin, billing accuracy, and revenue recognition requirements.
Serve as the primary escalation for non-standard terms and pricing exceptions; maintain templates and playbooks with Legal.
Ensure contract terms are reflected in billing systems and support revenue recognition with Accounting.
Build reporting dashboards (spend, cycle time, contract value, savings) for Controller and Finance leadership.
Identify and implement CLM tooling if not in place; develop scalable processes as the company grows.
