Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; seven years’ progressive experience preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years health plan or health system contracting experience with 5 years of management.
• Strong negotiation, public speaking, and organizational skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic direction and oversee department deliverables for operational excellence.
• Lead high-performing teams; manage hiring, training and staff development; manage budget.
• Set contracting strategy, collaborate with executives, legal, and medical management.
• Lead contracting software implementation and process improvements; ensure compliance with NCQA/HCPF/DOI.
• Negotiate complex provider contracts and refine contract templates with legal counsel.
