Job summary

Teal Energi is seeking a Sourcing & Contract Manager Consultant for an initial 6‑month engagement on the East Coast (Boston, New York or Rhode Island) with some travel. You’ll lead strategic sourcing, tender management, and post‑award contract administration in a regulated offshore energy environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in procurement and contract management, strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and contract systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of procurement and contract management experience.
• Experience managing full procurement lifecycle from sourcing through post‑award administration.
• Experience sourcing complex professional services and technically defined scopes.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience with RFPs, evaluations, and award recommendations.
• Experience administering amendments, extensions, notices, claims, and variations.
• Ability to interpret contractual terms and translate requirements into actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication; excellent organization and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and tender management, including market research, RFPs, and evaluation criteria.
• Negotiate terms, price, schedule, and change control with suppliers; prepare award recommendations.
• Coordinate contract finalization, exhibits, pricing schedules, and milestones with Legal, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders.
• Administer post‑award contracts, monitor obligations, milestones, and supplier performance; manage changes and closeout.
• Support environmental, marine, and regulatory procurement activities with cross‑functional teams.
• Establish governance, ownership, and reporting; maintain procurement trackers and status reports.
