Job summary

Eversource Energy seeks an experienced Procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing and contract management for medium to high-dollar spend. You will drive supplier evaluation, negotiation, and performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the supply base and reduce risk.

The role requires five+ years of procurement experience, a Bachelor's degree, and knowledge of contracting terms. Travel to MA/CT/NH and occasional emergencies may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years related experience.
• Demonstrated strategic sourcing / procurement experience including purchasing, negotiating/drafting contracts, contract management, supplier development and supplier qualification/certification.
• Certifications such as C.P.M., Six Sigma, Lean, Process or Project Mgmt. desirable

Responsibilities

• Drives cross-functional sourcing processes from supplier evaluation to contract implementation.
• Negotiates high-complexity contracts and supports internal business partners and suppliers.
• Establishes and monitors KPIs for supplier performance and cost savings.
• Coordinates with end users and suppliers to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
• Leads strategic sourcing projects with risk mitigation and value delivery.
