Novo Nordisk is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support sourcing tasks across our value chain in Clayton, NC. You will engage in pipeline management, review spend, and ensure compliance with established processes and policies.

You will work as a SME for procurement systems, train business units, and assist in supplier identification, evaluation, and selection while contributing to sourcing strategies and contract negotiations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain Management or related field with 4+ years in procurement in pharma/manufacturing
• Associate’s degree option with 6+ years in planning/purchasing in pharma/manufacturing
• SAP or Coupa background in logistics & business modules preferred
• Proficient in MS Office and basic data analysis
• Knowledge of source-to-contract concepts (RFI/RFQ/RFP)
• Ability to self-prioritize and organize work across cross-functional teams
• Foundational commercial, market and technical procurement knowledge
• Process improvement experience preferred

• Supports sourcing-related tasks across the value chain
• Engages in pipeline management and customer meetings to align tasks
• Reviews spend and ensures compliance with processes and policies
• Serves as SME for procurement systems (Coupa) and trains Line of Business
• Assists in supplier identification, evaluation and selection
• Contributes to development and execution of sourcing strategies
• Executes sourcing processes, projects and events per guidelines
• Performs market research and bid evaluations
• Tracks market trends and provides spend insights
• Supports contract negotiations for favorable terms
• Partners with Lines of Business to align procurement with business strategy
• Leads supplier qualification and resolution of issues
• Supports expansion/maintenance of VMI program across sites
• Adheres to safety and environmental requirements
• Performs additional duties as assigned
