Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks a Senior Supply Chain Leader to manage API materials, lead a global supplier operations team, and drive continuous improvement across sourcing processes. Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in Supply Chain Management, material or production planning, or manufacturing.
• Minimum of three years of leadership, management, and/or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• APICS Training & Certification, CSCP or CPIM a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead team by coaching, mentoring, developing, and overseeing daily activities of direct reports within the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across NN flows to support GDP, PS, API, and SoOp objectives.
• Ensure supply management of API materials delivered from suppliers to PS sites.
• Act as GSO API sourcing representative in groups and develop processes to improve material delivery.
• Maintain compliance with ES QMS, SOPs, and regulatory requirements (GxP) and support audits.
• Drive global sourcing of production materials from worldwide vendors to NN sites on time, in full, and in QDC balance.
• Develop governance models for categories and manage supplier relationships with Strategic Sourcing.
• Lead cross-organization optimization projects and coach project teams.
• Monitor demand, capacity, inventories, and KPIs; contribute to Balanced Scorecard metrics.
• Support continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and safety/environmental standards.
