Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a strong supply chain leader for API materials in Clayton, NC. You will lead a team, oversee supplier management from global vendors, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining compliance and continuous improvement across NN sites.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with GDP, PS, and other NN groups, driving projects, and maintaining inspection readiness within GxP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, or a relevant field from an accredited university.
• Minimum of five years of experience in Supply Chain Management, material or production planning, or manufacturing (pharma/regulated industries preferred).
• Minimum of three years of leadership/management experience in manufacturing.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification a plus.
• Experience leading projects of various sizes; strong communication across cultures and management levels.
• LEAN concepts knowledge and flow manufacturing familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the API sourcing team to meet project goals and daily operations.
• Collaborate with NN flows and GDP/PS to optimize supply chains.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for audits.
• Drive continuous improvement and stakeholder alignment across global sites.
