Job summary

Lyric is hiring an Industry Solutions Principal to drive technical wins and establish Lyric as the vendor of choice in competitive sales cycles. You’ll design and articulate how Lyric’s platform solves complex operational problems, ensuring feasibility and value alignment.

The role blends data pipelines, AI/ML capabilities, and commercial experience in enterprise sales. The position requires 12-15+ years in relevant roles, deep industry fluency, and ability to translate needs into scalable

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years in consulting, supply chain operations, or GTM strategy in tech.
• Deep understanding of at least two core verticals relevant to Lyric’s markets.
• Strong knowledge of data pipelines, ETL, analytics, and AI/ML.
• Proven track record supporting enterprise sales cycles, demos, POVs, and scoping.
• Ability to translate customer needs into solution architectures and communicate value clearly to executive audiences.
• Builder mentality and executive presence to build trust with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design, demos, and POVs to secure technical wins in competitive cycles.
• Develop repeatable GTM plays for 1-2 industry verticals, with personas and value propositions.
• Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes and industry-specific viewpoints.
• Equip Sales and Customer Success with tools, training, and campaign playbooks.
• Participate in executive meetings and key pursuits to shape deal strategy.
• Represent Lyric at industry events and customer forums as a thought leader.
