Job summary
Equinix, Inc. seeks a Strategic Sales Support professional to drive thought leadership and bridge network, datacentre and Cloud/IT infrastructure into repeatable offers.
You will support global field and channel sales, develop technology strategies with Account Executives, and deliver customer workshops and compelling presentations across five sales verticals. The role emphasizes collaboration with CIO/CTO/CMO/CSO teams, development of solutions and business cases, and shaping technology
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Network/Datacentre/Enterprise IT systems with implementation or support preferred.
- 5+ years in Solutions Selling in a commercial pre-sales role preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline preferred.
- Industry certifications (Cisco, VMware, MS, AWS) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic technology solutioning support to global field and channel sales.
- Develop account technology strategy with Account Executives.
- Prepare and conduct customer workshops and presentations.
- Build peer relationships with customers and deliver credible, compelling solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across products, solutions and marketing.
- Create content for proposals, marketing studies and events; brief sales teams on tech impacts.
