Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Software Product Manager to partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver software products that solve customer problems and drive business value. You will translate customer insights into requirements, manage the backlog, prioritize investments, and guide product development from concept to launch, shaping growth and product success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 5+ years of Agile software product development experience.
• Experience with SaaS, cloud-based, web, mobile, or enterprise products.
• Experience writing epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release scope for software teams.
• Ability to define, measure, and communicate product success metrics and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on value, customer impact, and feasibility.
• Collaborate with engineering and design to ensure clear requirements and roadmap alignment.
• Engage with sales, marketing, customer success, and engineering to translate insights into measurable outcomes.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, analyze usage and feedback to guide improvements.
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams to align on priorities and outcomes.
• Communicate product strategy and roadmap context to teams and stakeholders.
