Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. is seeking a Software Product Manager to lead software initiatives for building industry solutions. The role partners with product, engineering, UX, and stakeholders to translate customer needs into prioritized work, value-driven roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.

You will drive backlog, collaborate across teams, and use analytics to optimize product success, while influencing milestones and communicating strategy to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Product Management, or a related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in an Agile software product development environment.
• Experience managing the lifecycle of SaaS, cloud-based, web, mobile, or enterprise software products.
• Experience writing epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, product requirements, and release scope for software development teams.
• Ability to leverage product analytics, customer insights, and business metrics to make data-informed product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, technical feasibility, and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI design, QA, and technical writing teams to ensure requirements are well-defined and aligned to roadmap goals.
• Partner with stakeholders, customers, and business leaders to translate objectives and insights into measurable product outcomes.
• Establish and monitor key product performance indicators and use data to guide decisions and future enhancements.
