Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange Inc. (ICE) is seeking a proactive leader to head software procurement within the global organization. You will drive strategic sourcing, category management, and contract negotiation, delivering cost reductions and stronger terms.

The role requires 5+ years in indirect software procurement, exceptional analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to mentor a Procurement Analyst team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years indirect procurement in software spend at a large global org.
• Demonstrated success negotiating complex software agreements.
• Strong data analysis to drive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud, ServiceNow, Tableau, and AI automation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the software procurement category, spend, and processes.
• Lead negotiation and contract management for large software agreements, improving terms and reducing risk.
• Collaborate with legal, stakeholders, leadership, and suppliers on requirements and negotiations.
• Lead, mentor and support a team of Procurement Analysts.
• Analyze full category spend to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks and supplier relationship risks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Learn purchasing categories and back up teammates as needed.
