Job summary

Tyler Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Records Management team.

You will lead software implementation projects for local governments, coordinating resources, schedules, and budgets, while serving as the client liaison to ensure successful delivery. Travel to client sites and collaboration with sales, implementation, and support teams are essential to meet milestones and revenue goals.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience with software implementation project management.
Bachelor’s degree, or comparable work experience.
Typically, a minimum of three years of experience as an implementation professional (or equivalent experience).
Solid management and leadership experience is required including strong abilities in influencing, empowering and mentoring implementation team members.
Experience partnering with clients on technical needs and delivering tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop the implementation project plan and officially start projects with clients and staff.
Work with the sales team as contracts are signed, understanding requirements and background information.
Manage all aspects of projects related to client software and services delivery.
Coordinate resources to meet project needs and track all activity.
Guide release planning in support of the project schedule.
Monitor and report project hours, progress, and revenue recognition.
Manage scope, time, cost, and budget to meet client commitments.
Communicate with clients and stakeholders throughout the project.
Ensure milestones are completed and formal acceptance obtained from clients.
Plan sessions with client leadership to create documented management plans.
