Motorola Solutions seeks a Procurement Category Manager – Services to develop and execute sourcing strategies for third‑party systems implementation partners, professional services, and full‑lifecycle field services. You will manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations to optimize total cost of ownership, and drive continuous improvement across categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, and category experience.
• Proven ability to source end‑to‑end services for large technology deployments.
• Track record of achieving cost reductions through sourcing and negotiation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of contract law and procurement best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and e‑sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage category strategy for services including third‑party systems implementation partners, professional services, and field services.
• Conduct market analysis to inform sourcing decisions and supplier selection.
• Lead competitive bidding, negotiate robust SOWs and performance‑based contracts.
• Drive aggressive cost reduction through negotiation, value engineering, and process improvements.
• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (pre/post‑sales, engineering, legal) on procurement needs.
• Oversee contract lifecycle from drafting to execution and compliance.
• Generate procurement analytics and reports to support decisions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
