Job summary

InPwr, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Commercial Electrical Construction Service Account Manager to lead sales and business development for the service division, serving as the primary contact for customers.

You will manage accounts, drive new business, prepare detailed proposals, and coordinate with operations to ensure timely delivery while maintaining safety standards and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, additional training or a degree in Business, Sales, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an account manager role, preferably in the construction or service industry.
• Communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong technical understanding relevant to our service and industry standards.
• Estimating Experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
• Actively seek and incorporate client feedback to enhance the service experience.
• Organize and facilitate meetings with clients to review annual maintenance budgets and discuss both current and anticipated electrical needs.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
• Develop comprehensive estimates for each opportunity, coordinating resources and identifying scope gaps.
• Prepare and present timely and detailed proposals to current and prospective clients.
• Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through final sale.
