RockSol Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Senior Project Manager to lead and grow our transportation design practice in Southern/Western Colorado.

You will act as Engineer of Record on CDOT and municipal projects, expanding RockSol's presence across the state. The role requires a Colorado PE, 6+ years in roadway design and project management, and a track record of building strong client relationships with public agencies.

Qualifications

• Colorado PE with a BS in Civil Engineering and 6+ years in roadway/transportation design.
• Experience as Engineer of Record on CDOT/local public agency projects.
• Strong client development and relationship-building within Colorado's transportation sector.
• Proficiency in OpenRoads Designer; Civil 3D a plus.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

Your Impact

• Lead and grow RockSol design practice across Southern and/or Western Colorado, providing technical leadership and strategic direction.
• Serve as the Engineer of Record, leading the design and delivery of transportation projects for CDOT, municipalities, counties, and other public agencies.
• Build and strengthen relationships with the municipalities, CDOT, local governments, and regional partners while expanding RockSo/'s transportation presence throughout Colorado.
• Lead project pursuits, develop winning strategies, and secure new transportation work through strong client relationships and technical excellence.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, while ensuring successful project delivery.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff while building a high-performing design team.
• Collaborate with RockSol's Construction Management, Inspection, Materials Testing, and Geotechnical teams to deliver practical, construction-focused transportation solutions.

Requirements

Who You Are

• Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of roadway/transportation design and project management experience in Hydraulics, Structures & Traffic, including serving as Engineer of Record.
• Extensive experience delivering transportation projects for CDOT and local public agencies.
• Established relationships and a strong professional reputation within Colorado's transportation industry.
• Foster & develop clients, win work, and grow a Transportation practice.
• Proficient in OpenRoads Designer; Civil 3D experience is a plus.
• Collaborative leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring and developing engineering teams.
