Job summary

Rocksol, a Lochner company, seeks a Strategic Senior Project Manager in Colorado to build and strengthen relationships with municipalities, CDOT, local governments, and regional partners while expanding RockSol's transportation presence across the state.

The ideal candidate will lead as Engineer of Record on major transportation projects, mentoring a high-performing design team and collaborating with Construction Management, Inspection, Materials Testing, and Geotechnical groups to deliver

Qualifications

• Colorado PE license required or ability to obtain one.
• 6+ years of roadway/transportation design and project management experience (Hydraulics, Structures & Traffic) including Engineer of Record.
• Experience delivering transportation projects for CDOT and local public agencies in Colorado.
• Established relationships within Colorado's transportation industry and a track record of client development.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and grow a transportation design practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow RockSol design practice across Southern and/or Western Colorado, providing technical leadership and strategic direction.
• Serve as Engineer of Record, leading design and delivery of transportation projects for CDOT, municipalities, counties, and other public agencies.
• Build and strengthen client relationships with municipalities, CDOT, local governments, and regional partners to expand RockSol's transportation presence in Colorado.
• Lead project pursuits, develop winning strategies, and secure new transportation work through technical excellence and client relations.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and quality to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff to build a high-performing design team.

Your Impact

Requirements

Who You Are

• Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of roadway/transportation design and project management experience in Hydraulics, Structures & Traffic, including serving as Engineer of Record.
• Extensive experience delivering transportation projects for CDOT and local public agencies.
• Established relationships and a strong professional reputation within Colorado's transportation industry.
• Foster & develop clients, win work, and grow a Transportation practice.
• Proficient in OpenRoads Designer; Civil 3D experience is a plus.
• Collaborative leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring and developing engineering teams.
