Job summary

Lionsgate is seeking a Sr. Director, TV Business Affairs (Scripted) in Santa Monica, CA to lead negotiations and drafting of scripted TV agreements across development, production, and distribution. You will partner with Creative, Production, Finance, and Distribution to manage complex deals in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes independent judgment, strong legal reasoning, and the ability to handle multiple projects from development through delivery.

Qualifications

• J.D. required with bar admission in at least one U.S. state (California preferred).
• Experience negotiating scripted entertainment deals, development, and production agreements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and interpret scripted television agreements including writer/producer/director/showrunner deals.
• Advise on development, options, co‑production, financing, and rights structures.
• Serve as primary BA contact from development through production and delivery.
• Partner with Creative, Production, Finance, Legal, and Distribution teams on deal strategy.
