Vaco Recruiter Services' client in Indiana is seeking a Sr. Accountant to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with leadership and contribute to the organization's financial health by ensuring GAAP‑compliant accounting and accurate reporting.

Key duties include preparing and posting journal entries, assisting with month‑end close, reviewing transactions, bank reconciliations, audits, budgeting, and presenting financial results to management.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with month-end close and general ledger reconciliations
• Review accounting transactions for accuracy and policy compliance
• Prepare financial reports, budget comparisons, and trend analyses
• Support annual audits and budgeting activities
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Verify and approve ACH and wire transfers through the bank portal
• Present financial results and insights to management
• Support additional accounting and finance projects as needed
