Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Austin, TX is seeking a Buyer II to source, purchase and expedite materials from approved suppliers worldwide, supporting NPI procurement and cost reduction initiatives.

You will negotiate terms, monitor supplier performance with scorecards, maintain procurement records, and collaborate across functions to optimize material costs and ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Business, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 2 years in purchasing or materials roles.
• Experience with MRP systems (SAP or Oracle).
• Knowledge of supplier scorecards and cost reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Source, purchase, and expedite materials from approved vendors locally and overseas.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with local and overseas suppliers.
• Execute cost reduction initiatives and track supplier performance.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier scorecards.
• Coordinate with logistics to receive materials in warehouse.
