Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Buyer II to source, purchase and expedite materials for manufacturing. The role supports NPI procurement and drives cost reduction while managing supplier performance across global vendors.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material costs and ensure timely, quality supply for production lines. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in purchasing or materials roles, a relevant Bachelor's degree, strong negotiation skills, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Management / Business / Materials /Industrial Engineering.
At least 2 years working experience in purchasing or materials areas.
Knowledge of MRP system, SAP or Oracle.
Fast-paced manufacturing environment experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Buy, source and expedite materials from approved vendor lists both locally and overseas.
Ensure on-time delivery of materials and meeting quality requirements.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with local and overseas suppliers.
Execute cost reduction initiatives.
Maintain, monitor and provide feedback on supplier scorecard programs for cost, delivery and quality.
Work towards objectives/KPIs such as inventory management and materials availability.
