Job summary
Ultimate Staffing Services in San Jose, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to support procurement for our semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing operations. Qualifications
- 2–4 years of purchasing or procurement experience in manufacturing.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong Excel and Office skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute purchase orders based on MRP and production needs.
- Monitor material availability and resolve supply issues.
- Manage supplier performance including delivery and cost.
- Develop relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Coordinate ECOs and support NPI sourcing and planning.
- Maintain material master and purchasing data in ERP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
- Support supplier reviews and corrective actions.
