Job summary

Gossamer Bio seeks a Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting to lead the preparation and filing of periodic SEC reports, ensuring U.S. GAAP and SEC compliance.

The role also oversees equity administration, stock-based compensation accounting, and coordination with Legal, Investor Relations, and external auditors. The position supports SOX controls, interacts with senior leadership, and offers a hybrid work model with potential remote work for candidates within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA and 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of SEC disclosure modernization and XBRL requirements.
• Experience with stock-based compensation accounting; Workiva and Equity Edge beneficial.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file SEC filings (10-K/10-Q/8-K, DEF 14A, S-3, S-8).
• Coordinate with Legal and Investor Relations for consistent disclosures.
• Research and document technical accounting issues and emerging standards.
• Manage equity administration and stock-based compensation accounting.
• Support SOX compliance and external audits.
