Job summary

MAXIMUS in Dallas seeks a seasoned Scrum Master to empower delivery squads, coach agile practices and remove impediments. You will promote self-organisation, drive predictability and foster continuous improvement across teams delivering health and employment services.

Focus will be on collaboration with product owners, stakeholders and tech teams, using Azure DevOps/Jira for transparency, and maintaining a strong DevOps culture to optimise delivery value.

Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master or equivalent agile delivery qualification.
• Agile coaching, Kanban, Lean, Product or DevOps certifications desirable.
• Equivalent experience in technology delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective Scrum ceremonies, coach squads in agile principles and behaviours, promote self-organisation and ownership, and help product owners and delivery teams maintain focus on customer and business value.
• Identify, manage and remove delivery impediments, improve team flow and predictability, support capacity and release planning, coordinate cross-squad dependencies, balance pace, quality and resilience.
• Mentor squad members, product owners and stakeholders in agile practices, facilitate collaborative problem-solving and ensure improvement actions are owned and delivered.
• Use delivery metrics to identify risks, improve squad performance and provide delivery dashboards and insights for stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships across technology and Maximus, translate delivery challenges into business impacts, communicate progress and dependencies and facilitate planning and decisions.
• Promote DevOps, continuous delivery, automation and AI-enabled productivity where value is measurable.
• Maintain delivery information in the platform as a single source of truth and escalate blockers as needed.
