Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to enable cross-functional technology delivery squads, coach agile practices and maintain delivery visibility. You will promote value delivery, remove impediments and ensure quality, security and operational readiness across squads.

You will mentor product owners, facilitate ceremonies, and drive continuous improvement using metrics and dashboards. Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira or Rally is preferred, and SAFe or similar qualifications are

Qualifications

Certified Scrum Master or equivalent agile delivery qualification.
Agile coaching, Kanban, Lean, Product or DevOps certifications desirable.
SAFe or other scaled-delivery certification desirable.

Responsibilities

Facilitate effective Scrum ceremonies, coach squads in agile principles, promote self-organisation and ownership.
Identify, manage and remove impediments, improve flow and predictability, coordinate cross-squad dependencies.
Mentor squad members, product owners and stakeholders in agile practices, foster problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Use delivery metrics to identify risks, improve squad performance and provide dashboards and insights to stakeholders.
Build relationships across technology and Maximus, translate delivery challenges into business impact and enable planning.
Promote DevOps, continuous delivery, automation and responsible AI-enabled productivity.
Maintain delivery information in the platform as truth, escalate blockers and decisions.
