Job summary

YMCA of Collier County is seeking a School Age Program Manager to oversee the development and operations of the school age program across sites in Marco Island. This role ensures licensing compliance, maintains records, and leads a team to deliver quality youth programming on-site.

The role involves budget monitoring, staff scheduling, program development, and collaboration with community partners to achieve YMCA goals and ensure safe, engaging activities for children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• One to two years related experience (e.g., supervisor or coordinator of child care programs).
• Director’s Credentials required.
• Minimum age of 25.
• ADA compliance understanding.
• Must meet background screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administers and leads all school-age out-of-school programs at designated sites and monitors the program budget to meet fiscal objectives.
• Ensures services meet community needs and maintains program quality with supervision and expansion as needed.
• Assists in marketing and distribution of program information.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations, ADA accommodations, and licensing requirements (DCF, ELC, etc.).
• Manages fee collection with Site Supervisors to avoid outstanding balances.
• Maintains program records, employee and volunteer documentation, and electronic records per policies.
• Assists with budget understanding and variance communication; controls expenses.
• Handles emergency incidents and documents accordingly.
• Assists with grant reporting and meeting grant requirements.
• Coordinates staff scheduling to ensure proper coverage and mandated ratios.
• Ability to fill in as a substitute at any location when needed.
• Designs curriculum plans and activities fostering social-emotional growth and academics.
