Job summary

YMCA of Collier County | Marco Island is seeking a School Age Enrichment Leader to supervise children in our after-school program and to implement engaging daily activities. Under the Site Supervisor, you will help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for kids in K-5th grade during out-of-school hours, holidays, and camp days.

You will work Monday–Friday from 2:15 to 6:30 pm, with additional hours when schools are closed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to obtain state mandated 45 hours of training within 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to pass a level 2 background screening.
• This is a part-time position, Monday-Friday from 2:15-6:30pm.
• When public schools are closed, staff work full time shift hours at either Collier County YMCA branch location.
• This can be an entry level position for the right candidate looking to pursue careers in social work, or childcare. We will train you!

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in the school-age program and support daily activities.
• Assist with planning and implementing activities and maintaining a safe environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and community members.
• Collaborate with Site Supervisor to ensure quality program operations.
