Job summary

YMCA of Collier County Inc is seeking a School Age Program Manager to oversee the development and operations of the school‑age program across designated sites, ensuring licensing, budgeting, staffing, and records are maintained.

The role leads staff, coordinates scheduling, monitors fees, and drives program quality while maintaining compliance with ADA and local regulations. Benefits include employee discounts, PTO, comprehensive health/dental/vision, retirement plan, and a free YMCA membership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Director credentials required.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Must be 25+ and able to meet background screening requirements.
• CPR/AED and First Aid required within 90 days of employment.
• ADA understanding and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the total operation of school-age programs at designated sites.
• Develop and monitor the program budget to meet fiscal objectives.
• Ensure licensing compliance with DCF, ELC, and contracted entities.
• Monitor fees and ensure zero outstanding balances.
• Recruit, hire, and develop diverse staff and volunteers.
• Schedule staffing to meet mandated ratios and ensure coverage.
• Design curriculum plans and activities fostering social-emotional learning.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and community organizations to maximize impact.
• Support grant reporting and seek new grants as needed.
• Fill in as a sub at any location when coverage is not met.
