Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Manager of Scheduling and Financial Clearance to lead the Outpatient Central Scheduling team. This role oversees pre-registration, insurance/benefit verification, referrals, prior authorizations, and price estimations to ensure timely financial clearance for services.

You will develop staff, implement policies, monitor performance, and collaborate with revenue cycle and other departments to optimize patient experience and hospital reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree in Business and/or Healthcare related field, or 2 years equivalent.
• Five years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience managing a team or working with cross-functional groups.
• Analytical skills and ability to interpret quantitative data.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to lead projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop Financial Clearance Supervisors and Central Scheduling Supervisors.
• Monitor staff engagement and implement improvements.
• Assist with interviews and hiring decisions to maintain staffing.
• Provide performance feedback and coaching; address escalated issues.
• Develop and update training materials; review regularly for new methods.
• Identify training needs and coordinate opportunities across departments.
