Job summary

Arcosa, Inc. in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a Sales Representative to support the Greater Phoenix market.

You will develop sales plans, manage inventories and promote Arcosa products to engineers, architects and other specifying authorities while building lasting customer relationships. You will forecast sales, understand bid procedures, coordinate with leadership on pricing strategies, and ensure timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and sales forecasting.
• Knowledge of aggregates and construction materials.
• Knowledge of aggregates production and quality control.
• Strong interpersonal communication to build relationships with customers.
• Self-starting with minimal supervision.
• Ability to join industry associations and represent the company.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales plans; gather information to identify sales opportunities.
• Assist with development and execution of long-term product strategies.
• Responsible for inventories in assigned territories.
• Work with leadership on pricing strategies for new products.
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships and service.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers to ensure excellent service.
• Understand bid procedures, project specifications, and design processes.
• Conduct local sales and market surveys.
• Promote products to engineers, architects and other authorities.
• Forecast anticipated market sales and report information to management.
