Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Baton Rouge is seeking a Sales Manager to develop and oversee the sales plans for the Baton Rouge location, promoting all products and services to grow revenue.

Responsibilities include training and motivating sales staff, overseeing CSR activities, and coordinating sales efforts with marketing and leadership. Base pay ranges with bonuses reflect a performance-driven environment in a family business setting.

Qualifications

• Training, management, and/or coaching experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities; proven ability to coach and develop sales representatives.
• Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the sales department.
• Assist with on-site estimates 4–5 days per week.
• Develop strategic sales growth plans to meet revenue and profit objectives.
• Compile reporting on key sales metrics including revenue, conversion, customer service, accuracy.
• Monitor market indicators including housing market, economy, labor market, etc.
• Create and nurture a positive work environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Direct team selling activities, meet with CSRs regularly to review sales activities and goals, and oversee CSR scheduling.
• Utilize sales expertise to assist CSRs and in-home consultants in closing critical sales.
• Coordinate internal mystery shops to ensure high levels of customer service and alignment with sales strategies.
• Provide weekly and monthly internal reporting to management; track and share phone and online lead data.
• Regularly review year-over-year sales metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
• Perform CSR duties as needed including answering phones.
• Function as a vital member of the leadership team, working with other department managers.
